I completed my Project 365 (shellyn365.tumblr.com) a few months ago. Now I'm giving Project 52 a try. Every Wednesday for one year, I will post a new photo to represent that week.

Week 52: Love you
“Photography is more than a medium of factual communication of ideas. It is a creative art.” (Ansel Adams).
I embarked on my second year-long photography project (click here to check out my Project 365) and it has been a blast! I went to Europe where I visited numerous sites like Big Ben (week 15), la tour Eiffel (week 16), the Rhine Valley (week 17), la Sagrada Familia (week 18), and the Colosseo (week 19). In addition, I experimented with techniques such as macro/close-up (week 24), street (week 13), abstract (week 44), and landscape (week 37). As well, I created some unique images using editing software (week 43).
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to those of you who followed along with me. I humbly appreciate all of the likes, re-blogs, critiques, and encouragement. For now, another year-long project is not in sight. I will, however, continue to take pictures and post some on my other photoblog, Photos by Shellyn.
Until then, see you next time!

Hi, everyone! Project 52 will be on a short break. The motherboard on my laptop crashed and has been rendered useless. I am still taking pictures, which will be uploaded as soon as I get a new computer. Until then, take care and see you soon!
